Is Tebow capable of winning throwing 2 completions?

I was mocking St. Timothy. Whether or not there is a Jesus is irrelevant to the discussion. What makes Tebow a douche is using the piety and the prayer pose as a PR tool. Hell, he was doing it in the last minutes of the game yesterday afternoon. Does he really think that God cares about the outcome of football games?

It's not a PR tool...he's been doing it since high school. He also fully admits that God doesn't care about football, but he was taught to pray about whatever was on his mind so that's what he does.

I don't give a crap about Tebows prayers. I care about how he plays football. I really want him to be a good QB, but he isn't.

...he's been doing it since high school. ...

So he's been promoting himself since high school. "Oh look, Tim is praying now!"

Many differences. Indy is a cheap spec-car series using bought chassis; F1 teams make their own cars. They buy engines, but have to make their own transmissions. F1 budgets are much higher, F1 tracks are far more challenging, F1 drivers are of an altogether higher caliber. The best pro race drivers in the world all aspire to either F1 or WRC.

Cool!

This sport is a two-fer: 1) We pour hundreds of millions of dollars into a sport intentionally designed to burn engineering resources and fossil fuels. But 2) We also inspire millions of want-to-be racers to over-size their own personal horsepower needs and invest badly-needed dollars on those specialized exhaust and fuel system.

That's sooo plunky-ish of you.

Personal horsepower needs is a relative term. Semantics
F1 has done more for fuel economy ,engine management, handling, tire technology for modern commercial vehicle technology than any other
company. Not to mention safety now used in modern vehicles also.

F1 is to the automotive engineering world what the space program was to computers and electronics, well sort of anyway. The engineering resources advance the state of the art, which falls out onto commercial vehicle development.

An F1 season uses less fuel than tomorrow morning's rush hour in Knoxville.

And I think the average F1 fan is mature enough to understand that the streets are not a racetrack. Dunno that we can say the same about NASCAR fans though, I understand that on NASCAR weekends there is a rash of me-too-ism from the boy racers in Appalacia.

teams figured out how to defend tebow. i been saying it for months that NFL players weren't used to defending the option and that it was like the wildcat in the sense it'll take time to get adjusted. now they can contain him and try to force him to his right, where he can't throw the ball for shit on the run.

pittsburgh might win by 3-4 tds. if he doesn't learn to throw in the pocket he'll never be successful
