Is it really that possible to hit your Sciatic Nerve

I've heard several horror stories about people hitting their Sciatic Nerve and can't walk for a week and stuff like that, but is it really that easy to hit. Has any of you guys hit it? What really happens if you hit it?

My friend did a sus shot in his quad and was walking like he had a wooden leg for a few days, I dont know if he hit the nerve though.

unless you are injecting in your ass crack it is almost impossible to hit your sciatic nerve. you can however inject next to it and produce enough swelling to really put you down.

what the fire man said. It doesn't run along the outer quadrant, where the injection site should be. I had back problems, and some of my injections seemed to aggravate my sciatic nerve. Just felt like pressure down the back of my leg.

I knew this guy down my gym once who was new to the game, him and his mate started juicing together and were injecting each other.
Anyways on time his mate shoot in the wrong spot ( near the center ) and actually hit his nevre, this guy jumped about 2 foot in the air and jolted backwards. The result was the pin snapped off and was stuck deep in his glute, which neither of them could get out, so he had to take a trip to hospital and explain how a pin was burried in his glute. Oh yea plus he couldn't walk for a while, till it was removed. he was in pain for some time..

I think the lesson of this incident is make sure you know what the hell you are doing, before doing it!!!!!!

If you're really worried about it just sit down when you inject and then you have no chance of hitting it.

Sust in any amounts in my quads puts me down. Hurts like a b*tch! I had to stop doing quads with it and go back to the glutes.

Yea that is how you wanna do it, you want to relax the muscle as much as possible, i find sitting down is best. you will never miss the spot then either.

Thanks for the responce. The only thing going near my ass crack is toilet paper and my wife's tongue, so I have nothing to worry about then.

you have to always shoot for the upper outer quadrant, like what was previously said you would either have to shoot in the middle or towards your ass crack to hit the sciatic nerve. it is possible to hit one of its terminal branches but nothing to be worried about.
