Is it a good to be a Platinum member?

Just debating if I should sign-up to a Platinum membership?
The reason's is I would like to find more legit people with anwsers, and no more talks with fly by night bullshiters that think they have cycled before and think they know what their talking about. I want to plan a good next cycle and plan on the advice of members and would like to make sure it's the best advice.

It has been a little slow as of late but there are very good articles in there. If you have the extra cash I would recommend it. I mainly do it to support the board.

Somebody is tryin a little to hard to be the next mod. You can get your questions answered maturely and correctly on a million other boards. If you want gear pictures check out anabolex they have pages and pages of them.

there are also picture posting priviledges and no- pop ups. Though perhaps supporting the board is the best reason. It is true that a lot of these things can be had for free, but one needs only to look at the number of fallen boards to see that free can only last so long.. especially with the kind of traffic/bandwidth use here. There is also a cerain amount of liability that the board incurs for the benefit of its patrons.

btw- Free was the anthem of the net.. it is a song that is less sung... for a reason..

Freedom of speach is a great thing. In any case there is always a price we pay for freedom correct? I want to go platinum but, between my gear, sups & child support, I can't even afford the small price for that. I'm just greatfull that al the vets are here to help me out.

# of stars signifies # of posts. Flashing stars signifies platinum.
I don't know the exact thresholds in which you get an additional star.
500+ =2
1000+ =3
and so on

# of green dots signifies # of blocks of 100 karma points received

When you turn platinum you get 100 or 200 karma points. I can't remember which.

Sure you could but why not support the board? I have just made
the decision myself. The stuff I have learned hanging out here is well worth the small amount it cost's to be a Platnum member. I like being closer to Georgie too! I did actually meet the man in person a few years ago. I went for one of his personal consultations. He's one of the good ones Besides, I like good karma
