Is 25/26 old?

Oceano

I was reading that 'regrets in life' thread, it depressed me. For you older ones, is 25 going on 26 an old age? how would you describe that age in terms of where you are in your life?

is that subjective?
kind of a stupid question

how u mean? I'm asking older people how they view being 25/26. Do they see it as being old, young etc I'm trying to get the perspective of someone who is past that age

Best years of my life have been the last couple of years, enjoy and stop thinking crazyness. Worry about stuff like this when you'r eover 30 and married to some fat bitch who you only stay with because you don't want her take all your money in a divorce.

its ok I don't like fat people. Cheers for the reply tho, it seems you think 30 and over is old, which worries me slightly because 26 is getting closer to 30

25 old? Yes if you are a moron. I'd be willing to chop off pick3's member and donate it to a sperm bank to be 25 again.

I meant the chick you marry packs on 25lb's in the 5-10 years you are with her bro.

i feel old at 25.

but i'm not. i got a solid 10 years of partying and being single
40 is the new 30 with all the hormone replacements :)

as long as you ain't married

Have you ever heard the saying that there is no fate but what you make? 25 isn't old just like 18 isn't old just like 75 isn't old. It's all relative. When I was 18, 60 was old. When I was 55, 60 didn't seem so old anymore. It's all relative. Don't worry so much about it. Just have fun with whatever is present and coming up next.

so do you consider it the prime of life? or just past it or just before it?

no.. it's all about your mind.. some guy just posted a pic of his mom who's 60 and getting married..she looks darn good!

Cheers for living well and aging gracefully!

That's the thing. If you *think* you're old and not an actual age itself. If you never *think* your old, you'll always be able to have fun.

BTW, how old are you actually? I'm 55 and it doesn't bother me a bit.

I'm 25, 26 in a few months. Interesting that no one has said its young yet

Depends what kind of shape you're in at 55, some are living their life while others look like they struggle.

the only reason i feel old was because of my life experiences. in my early 20's i was living the life of someone established and in their 30's. That's not really the case now. I have high expectations for myself.

i'm alot older (mentally) than my age dictates.

otherwise i feel young. i still party like i'm 21, bang young girls and am a goofy bastard

So how young are you if you're destined to be a bristle cone pine fossil

Your still the "light elements" in a star that will have to undergo a supernova in order to create the "heavy elements" (everything heavier than iron) that are found it trace quantities in the tree...... Samoth knows what I'm talking about...

I think what this thread has shown me is that I can no longer be described as young anymore, I am post-young if you like

What's so great about be perceived as young?

Oceano said:

i was established and successful in business, working long hours, was in a serious relationship where we lived together and i supported her etc. I had alot of responsbility

i'd still party but i definetely lived like someone in their 30's who was married. my life is alot more eventful and less predictable now and i don't have as much responsiblity

I was used to it. I guess when ur young you're full of potential, when you get older a lot of that potential is no longer there because you've gone in one direction etc

When you say business, u mean you were working for yourself?

what was better, the previous life or the one ur living now?

Life is what you make it, most people are not well established 2-3 years out of college. if you're not happy with your life you have plenty of time to do what you want to do, but sitting here and dwelling on shit in a negative way isn't going to get you where you wanna go. Life is short......
enjiy it while you can and work hard towards your goals so that when you are actually old you won't have some long paragraph to write in one of those
"what I regret threads".

i mean i had a career...that i was doing very well at a young age, and had tremendous opportunity till the industry changed. I worked long hours and my life was very predictable, but i was doing well financially

That's a tough question. I like the freedom and variety i have now, but i'd take the financial and relationship stability with someone i love over that now.

If i was still doing well financially AND single...i'd probably be alot happier now than i was then

where did ur cheddar go then?

bottomline is you're young dude.

not young enough to fuck around all the time and not have any direction, but still young enough to enjoy your life and find your path. Alot of my friends are in their late 20's and very early 30's and they live awesome fuckin lives. Half the time i cant even believe they're that age. i figure they're my age. its what you make of it
i know people that are early 20's and live like old men/women.

my goal was to be a millionaire at 30. i dont know if thats realistic anymore, which is why i feel old. but thats just my own expectations. the only reason i feel old (sometimes)

cheers, its good to hear someone actually say it, I believe it too.

I think thats exactly my problem too. I'd like to press pause on the age thing so I could stuff sorted then move on if you know what I mean.

I don't care much for being a millionaire, I'm already privileged but there are things I would've liked to achieved by now, places i'd liked to have went etc etc but think its passing me by or I'm getting too old. Plainly b/s but it could be a self-fulfilling prophecy if one doesn't get on and take action

At 18, I felt like 21 was old and my life would suck by then. Nahhh not even close, I realized I was fooling myself so 25 became my next target. Once again I was wrong. Life got even better. And now at 30 i'm having the best time of my life. Experience is priceless and girls dont really care. I feel like 30-35 is probably the nirvana for men.

Yeah, you have one foot in the grave after 21...

Holy shit, dude, welcome back from the dead!!

Sometimes I feel ancient at 26....but lately I've been finding my youth again. having fun, laughing, experiencing life to the fullest...I haven't felt this young in longer than I can even remember.

i envy the older chix... i mean their tits hang down to their knees.... i wish my dick would hang down past my knees. heck i'd be happy if it hung past my balls...

Yes 25 yo is old you have one foot in the grave I suggest giving me your karma due to the fact that you may not be around tommorrow

Pfft...... your as old as you feel. Age doesn't mean sheitte. 1 exception, it matters when your under the age of 21...........

Most people today are still kids at 25/26... barely out of school, maybe still in grad school. No significant work experience. Little life experience that matters in making one successful. I find I am often teach people this age about being responsible adults such as showing up on time for work, working all day, dressing appropriatlely, acting appropriately. Many parents have forgotten that they are supposed to prepare their children for the world not just toss them out there to see what happens.

Just my opinion from being young once and hiring/ leading hundreds in various direct or indirect ways over the years.

age is relative to that of the people that are attracted to you.mix with you

when i was 26 most of my girlfriends were 17-19

now im 29 and htey seem to be 19-21

old is just a word. boring and useless are better ones to worry about

I will. My son turns 24 this year and I still think of him as a kid (even though he's 4 years older than I was when I had him ...)

25 is very, very young. Enjoy it. And trust me on this, ignorance really IS bliss. Stop fucking worrying about being old. You get to do that for long enough when you really ARE old.

25/26 is still a BABY! You have your whole life in front of you and can basically do ANYTHING still at that age!!
