Irregular strength

Every week when I do my chest exercises I've got problems,Sometimes I can lift heavier weight with ease ,next time the same weight feels impossible why?

Can be many factors. What food you have eaten, how much rest you have gotten the night before, hormone levels.

For me I find I'm strongest in the afternoon around 2-5pm. If i train in the morning my training is lack luster and the evening is too packed in the gym that it drives me mental and I just want to get out of there..

Back on topic if we made linear gains every week we would all be competing in strong man competitions and bodybuilding competitions. If there is a massive drop in performance then there could be something up. And if there is no increase in a long time then you need to change routines.

If you train like a retard you'll have a lot of inconsistency, like a friend of mine. Good rest and good food will help you stay consistent, now if you're struggling because you're trying to up the weight too much, drop it down to a manageable level, and add some extra chest work to your routine, in a few weeks you'll see results

Also, depending on your age and training history overtraining is a possibility. In my new shoulder routine I was doing 3 exercises X 4 sets of heavy presses - military, behind the neck military, and dumb bell along with lateral and front raises, and rear delt. I stopped making progress until I dropped a set of presses.
