Inzer Lever Belts

Deciever

New member
Are they adjustable?? I dont want to buy one, and have it not be adjustable,... that would just ruin it. Also, i've heard it is a lot easier to get the belt tight. .... and it looks cool!

lol i didnt mean to post it so many times, my internet kept not working when i hit the Post button, so i would hi the stop button and click it again, and i guess each time i did that it posted... my bad

Lever belts are a pain in the ass and a piece of shit. Yes they are adjustable btu you'll have to have a screwdriver handy whenever you wan tot change the size. You can get your belt too tight. If it is too tight you cannot stick your gut out and get air into your belly. I have actually seen the lever part snap before. Most people also wear a belt to bench but not as tight as they would to squat with so you are constantly having to change the belt size. Some guys like them, I think they suck. I gave mine away last year.

I love mine. And I have a small toolkit in my gymbag. Just so much easier to put on and take off, I find it more than makes up for the difficulty in adjusting the fit, and my waist size does not change that much.

okay , so i hear some good, and some bad( very bad by what 1 -dawg says). Adjusting it cant be that bad.. its just a couple of screws to unscrew and re screw. Anyway, its not like i am going to be pushing out w/ trememndous force to make the lever snap, im still alittle kid lol.... so im debating over the lever or double prong. i just cant decide.

Different strokes for different folks! The only way you will truely know what you like is by trying each. Arioch & 1-Dawg are two of the most knowledgeable lifters on this board and they each have very different views on the lever belt which just goes to show you that everyone must make their own decisions in the end. Good luck!

I just switched form a two prong to a lever about two months ago. They have good and bad things. THey are easier to get on and off but if you change how tight you need it between sqautting and deadlifting then it could be a pian. I have adjsuted to it well but if i had to do it all over again i would get a SINGLE prong. Just my .02

i use the same tightness setting for my squat and deadlift.. so i wouldnt be changing it that much. I also dont wear it for bench (dont need to, cause i dont have a shirt or anything)

Give them a whirl...if you can. I use a single prong for strongman. When we do the log press, we wear the belt loose and instead of fully tucking the excess into the loop...we make a shelf out of it. When you do the clean...you can put the belt under the loop and it will help you clean it a bit...I think...lol
