Intra/Post WO Carb Timing

I keep reading conflicting opinions on timing and dosage of carb powders such as Waxy Maize.
Some recommend it Intra or even Pre-WO with BCAAs.
Others recommend it with a shake immediately Post-WO. (ie.Big Blast)
Still others say just the carb immediately Post-WO and a protein shake 1/2 hr later when the insulin spike is highest.
I have been drinking Waxy Maize with BCAAs Intra-WO, but have some Big Blast on the way.
Will the Waxy Maize during WO interfere with the nutrient uptake of the Big Blast Post-WO because I will have already "used up" my insulin spike as I think the Pancreas will only secrete so much in a response to carbs within a certain timeframe?
What are you guys opinions on this?

i wonder the same thing, i usually do my protein shake with carbs immediately after my workout but ive also heard conflicting things

Maybe its just me but whenever I eat/have carbs an hour or so before the gym, I have way more energy and better pumps. Because of this I usually have them before and then later in the day when I start to crash a little. I'm probably wrong in my thinking but figured I'd toss up my exeperience.

I agree 100%. I always try to eat a meal with some slow digesting carbs an hour or so before I workout. I also have more energy/pumps if I do.
It's the timing of the fast digesting carbs during or after workout I'm confused about.
