Shit, round here there is waiting list about 40 miles long to even get an interview. I know some very qualified people that actually know about electronics that didn't get hired there. Yet it seems like around here, they only hire the tards. No one knows jack shit about anything in that store.

I second that - why would a million people want to work at Best Buy? I mean, it's probably cool to get the discount or something, but I don't think the sales peeps work on commission anymore - just hourly.

Yeah man, I don't get it either. They are all hourly, except for management and the pay sucks. But for years now that has been one of the hardest places to get a job around here (midwest). You have to do a phone interview first and most people don't get past that even. It's ridiculous.

i dont know but when i went in there they made the whole discount thing sound like it would be a huge gods gift to us.

from what I hear its only like 5% on most things and some things you can get for really cheap.
