you need to add to your Profile " No pics- No Response"... that will streamline match ups even further...i used to get myself into messes like that (one you are describing) they suck..you have to be brutally truthful from the start...i learned quickly never to respond to women that posted no pics...the ones that dont post pics sometimes are extremely HOT and dont want every swinging dick to be emailing them..that happened to me too...i dont do online dating any more, too many liars- i got so tired of it.

So the "no pics, no answer" limits your chances
and with Internet the main benefit is to be able to contact a lot of potential partners
And unlesss you look like Brad Pitt and pretend to earn a 6 figures job you may have to contact chicks rather than wait to be contacted

i understand that...by doing this women who deem themselves and you worthwhile, will automatically shoot you a pic. you can request it nicely in your profile, so you dont come off as arrogant...ive had women post pics and when it came time to actually meet them, they would say, "oh by the way- this is me now, my profile pic was taken 10 years ago.".....been burned so many times bro....you have to ask for "current" pics too.

one of the hottest girls i ever met- didnt have pics...but when she contacted me- she gave me her pic upfront and asked if i liked what i saw...she was very cool.

well this is my first post on this message board i have looked through the online dating websites, match.com, yahoo personals...Just my observation but it seems the girls there are either very pretty or very heavy and/or ugly.... not many average plain jane types...you see alot of histrionic personalities(AXIS II)"you psych people know what i am talking about". or the ones you would consider dating live to far away. Generally most people will meet someone and get married,,statistically speaking you are likely to meet your significant other through a friend ,or at work, or at school. also if you look in your local newspaper on weekends or whenever they have the wedding anouncements for couples the couple look like they could be brother and sister(generally couples of the same atractiveness level and physical features get together).same with interests0 If that is true i am going to marry a slender brunette girl who likes science, looks a little goofy,and has a big head.

i agree 100%...i was all into it when my wife left me. i made some friends along the way...it used to be not so bad...more real. but as soon as more people caught on- it became adulterated. now most of the HOTTIES are either Bi- and looking for women or they are hookers/ web-cam sites...its pretty much a done deal now. i would never go back...it makes me sick to think of it.
