interesting steroid in baseball question...

say randy johnson..who i believe is 40 plus....went to a legit doctor and legaly got prescription for HRT. is he allowed to play baseball because hes not using "steroids", hes using a doctor "prescribed medicine"?
see what im getting at ?

i am positive most professianal athletes are on some sort of testosterone preparation, usually high dose androgel because blood levels can be altered quickly to avoid testing positive,by reducing application, 24-36 hours is all it takes to go from approx 1500ng/dl to normal range of 800ng/dl....and gh added to regimin...........when literature said androgel had a reduced potential for abuse they did not realize the high benifit of it being used to aid in doping.....doctor in i think prescribed football team the panthers..some players were filling scripts for androgel 5 times a month(i cant remember off hand i will look it up in a minute), just saying the frequency and the dose were well beyond what would be prescribed in a HRT reginem,

I am very good friend with a certain Braves pitcher; my wife and his wife are very close. He is 41 or so and is prescribed HRT; per him this is publicly known. He has never had an issue what so ever, since it is "doctor prescribed". However, I do recall him saying that he has to have continued test to show the needed continuation of HRT.
