Interesting blurb on aspartame

i tried saying a while ago when i joined that splenda and aspertame were no good and that they are root for health probs...i think people thought i was nutty...lol

i don't think you're nutty lmao, smart more like it. I've always stayed away from aspartame, but use splenda regularly I've never really heard anything bad about splenda, got any links?

while aspartame is bad on so many levels i always knew it decomposed at a low temperature

splenda on the other hand is derived from normal sugar just reconfigured in a way that it cannot be broken down in the body
and at 10 times sweeter than natural sugar it is great
just a bit more expensive commercially than aspartame so the cola companies refuse to use it
fresca used to use splenda...no longer :(

at home i use stevia
naturally sourced from a root it is 100 times sweeter than sugar and does not up the insulin

something to think about:
splenda is the only commercial sweetner recommended by most diabetic groups

hi
not sure who you are but please consider i've been doing research in nutrition, dieting and food for the last 25 years
i am also a professional chef

now to the point
did you actually read the first article
it's last addendum was 3 years ago
and splenda was approved
and the amounts given is inconceivable one person might ingest that in one day
they bad mouthed saccharine
and now they have quietly gone back and said saccharine is not as bad for you as they originally thought

i am prediabetic hypoglycemic
have been for 16 years
i have managed to keep diabetes from my door by monitoring what i eat and judiciously using saccharine, splenda and stevia

and please note
ANYTHING in excess can be potentially toxic

lol like the silly twits with their oxygen tanks
