Hey well im three months into backpacking, having a fuckin blast. but after basically eating baggets and patae every day, and sometimes not eating at all in an effort to save cash. Im basically back to square one. Down from 198 lbs with abs when flexed to what looks like its gotta be 170 at probably a percentage less bf.
Im thinking when i get back im really gonna be focusing on power training and acrobatics. but that involves alot of streching and actively working to increase my flexebility on a daily basis. Will this re tear my muscles after a workout?

Where are you backpacking? I love backpacking.

Im in europe right now.
been out for about three months now. Going home in 10 days though.
So far... ive basically done this
Amsterdam-copenhagen-stockholm-oslo-bergen-flam-munich(oktoberfest)-paris-munich(oktoberfest)-warsaw-krakow-zakopane-berlin-corsica-prauge-mostar(bosnia)-athens-amsterdam(cannibis cup)-and next up it looks like lyon, barcelona, then my flight leaves from amsterdam again.

Im thinking next winter im going to spend 3 months in cambodia and try to learn the language

A muslce is most powerful when it is longest... or so i have heard... and so, the more flexible you are, the more power you are able to exert. And more power is related to most strength.

It has been shown in a couple of studies that intense stretching, which in this case was one muscle group for 30+minutes, did reduce, force output. If you're not going to be intensely stretching a muscle for 30 minutes, I wouldn't worry too much.
