an interesting story I heard recently:

A contractor hires a subcontractor who is Russian. They are shooting the shit, and the Russian tells this guy (American whitey), that in Russia he was middle of the class in math and struggled with it. When he comes to America and goes to schools here, he is top of the class in math.

We keep dumbing our educational standards down to "bring up" the lowest of the class. Catering to the idiots...how PC of us. No child left behind, eh?
