In a hurry and need a quick healthy breakfast? This is a good one.

1 small carton of egg whites or egg beaters
1 cup of oatmeal
1 scoop of chocolate whey isolate

Mix in blender and enjoy.

the oatmeal and a good quality isolate blended would be fine for a quick breakfast as long as you eat a solid meal no later than 2 hours after

I agree with Xrsist....I'd add some milk to it though!

1% is better. You gotta have fat in your diet!!

I don't like milk. I use lite soy milk in my shakes. I add my oates to the shake and I am good to go. Anyone else use soy milk? Pros and cons of it?

Soy milk is good. Regular milk is not for everyone!

Also used almond milk, it is ok, but not a favorite. Might be worth try though if you are not into regular milk.

Oats has fat (15%) of calories to be exact. No need to use 1% milk fat - use flaxseeds if you want more fat.

I have 80 grams oat bran + 10 grams flaxseeds + 5 grams ground cinnanom (cassia) + 20 miscellar casien + 15 grams whey. Tried barley for first time today, but not quite the same.

(A diabetic study on cassia showed improvements of fasting serum glucose by 18–29%, their triglyceride levels 23–30%, their LDL cholesterol 7–27%, and their total cholesterol 12–26%, over others taking placebos.
