Injection gone wrong.

Hey guys I need some tips I know about pip and all that and what’s normal but my issue right now is I did my glute shot on Monday not paying attention and literally just went straight through my ass cheek side ways I can feel the oil in my cheek and it is now Friday and it is very present and painful. When should I go to the dr or will it eventually go away?

you should apply warm compress like a warm towel and massage it and take an anti inflammatory

next time heat up the oil bake it before injecting (not boil) just light heat so it's warm before you inject

i hate that pip injections, massage it apply heat and ice too, like hot cold, take anti inflammatory and HEAT up oil next time

if you notice a fever for more than 36 hours best to see a doc

Go get it drained to be sure

I would just massage it and give it some time. As long as you don't have a fever, let things work themselves out.

Just a little update… went to the E.R. Last night to get it drained and the dr told me since it doesn’t look infected or look like an abscess he didn’t drain it. But yet I clearly have a big ass lump and am in pain. Said it will go away on its own. So yeah I’m kind of pissed right now. I wanted the mf drained

thats not good that you went but good it's not an abscess

next time you should bake the oil before using, like heat it up

why would you go to the ER? the doctors there don't have time for this. go to a skin doctor dermatologist

Give it a week. If it doesn't go down go back. Take a pic to compare it to

Every time I’ll heat it up. I’ll draw it in a syrninge then I’ll run the hot water over it for a couple of minutes and of course change the needle before injecting.

Keep us updated on how this turns out. I’ve had some bad lumps back in the day but they all eventually went away.

Alright guys update on it all… it cleared up almost a week and a half later now not in any more pain but I’m going to give my right glute a week of not injecting in that spot.

there are certain spots that simply don't like to be pinned on everyone. my left quad HATES injections, but my right quad is cool with it.

figure that out with experience and listen to your body, it will tell you where it likes it and even what part of the day

my body likes after a workout or after a hot shower, not while cold in the morning

Man still to this day I don’t know how to do a quad shot. I’ve done it twice in my right quart and each time fucked my self up I couldn’t walk
