Inj vitamin B12 or Inj vitamin B100 complex ??

I can get two different types of Inj vit B cut the B complex doesn't contain Vit B12.

These are my two choices:

1. VITAMIN B12 1000mcg. injection.

or

2. B-100 COMPLEX vB1 100mg vB2 0.5mg vB6 1mg Nicotinamide 100mg

What I would like to know if what would be the better choice for a boost in energy and increase in appetite/weight gain?

Anyone have any experience? How should I dose?

Get the methyl B-12 injectible as it is far better absorbed. No conversion neccesary by the body and no traces of cyanide.

Conventional, organic nicotinic acid is actually very well absorbed orally so there is no reason at all to pay extra to inject it. Avoid anything that reads "No flush" as that is a semi-synthetic compound designed to reduce the vasodilation effect of Niacin and it is relatively toxic to the liver in anything other than very modest doses. Regarding the flush effect, it diminishes substantially if you take it a few times a day, every day. Skip a few days though and the flushing comes back full strength...so don't skip. Do not take niacin with or near caffeine consumpion as the caffeine greatly accelerates the metabolization of the Niacin and you'll flush like hell.

Yes, it is true. Name one food in nature that contains SOME B vitamins and not others? They always appear in the complex.

Nelson, I understand what you're getting at now, but the discussion at hand wasn't whether any particular B vitamin occurs in whole food w/o the presence of at least some other B vitamins. The question now I suppose is whether an individual B preparation can be absorbed w/o the need for any other B and many unarguably can.

Either you or I could cover the entire screen with Pubmed abstract links to research that found statistically significant efficacy for the effect of individual B on various conditions. I found one for niacin significantly lowering cholesterol in 10 seconds.
