Well, it's what women think men want, which is why they often get them, when in reality (good, worthwhile) men only want boobs that look good on that particular girl. Fake tits rarely accomplish this. I'd rather have a chic with small B's and a great ass than to have her get implants just because she thinks they aren't big enough. I'm all for implants if it can only improve on the existing boobies, in terms of look, feel, and movement. Technology is getting better now to the point where you can also barely tell the difference, and there's no scarring or discomfort for the woman. Gotta love R&D.

Why on earth would a women give a fat rat's ass about another woman's bewbs unless more men were paying attention to the chick with the embarrassingly fake-ass gawd-awfull bewbjob?! You don't see women running out getting fake moles tattooed on their faces alpha lipoic acid Cindy Crawford or getting hyuge gaps put in their front teeth alpha lipoic acid Lauren Hutton do you? Why is that? They were both legendary supermodels whose "trademark" were these exact physical characteristics... right?

It is because MOST MEN don't find those specific physical features attractive on MOST OTHER WOMEN. They just happened to be very beautiful women who had these specific features that they became known for. Where as ANY BUTT UGLY wierd ass looking broad with a HYUGE rack walks by MOST MEN and they won't even see her eye color, hair color, body or any damned thing... but you had better believe they will see her tit.

BEWBS RULE THE WORLD. Not because of women thinking they are important or impressive but because of what most men value as in "physical beauty" and "sex appeal".

The sexes can be so clueless about what *they think* the other is thinking.

Now I'm going to take a different tack from B'Mom ... I'm actually not so sure it's about the size of the breasts, I think it's about proportion of the figure.

Humans aesthetically prefer balanced forms and faces. Most women, genetically, appear bottom heavy because they have hips, even if they're thin. And going beyond that, even if a woman has broad shoulders her figure still looks off balance if she has smaller breasts. Finally, even the best breasts usually have one that is smaller than the other. The easiest way to create a visually pleasing balance is to increase the size of the breasts, it automatically offsets the hips. The only logical thing to do if you have breasts of noticeably different size (say a B cup and a C cup) is to increase the B to a C, not reduce the C.

Where does the fault lie? Frankly, more with the women because they believe, though conditioning (via society/culture/media) to believe that the unrealistic proportions of models and celebrities is what men want. It's been my observation that the majority of men are more interested in the overall complete package, not just selected parts.

women 100%. I've never met a guy that wished my boobs were bigger. They were just happy to get some lovin!
If there were no men in this planet (yes a girl can dream), breast implants would go down by 99%.
Women do it to please men and if they deny it, they lie!

oh and by the way.....if I were a guy, I would want a women with huge boobs. I think they are super sexy ;-)

my husband wants me to get them done and I dont want to.

So there is one instance of the man wanting it done vs. the woman

I mean I would like to but when it comes down to actually going to the doc and getting it done there is no way I'd actually go through with it.

my vote is men.

MM I understand what you are saying about *being in proportion* and I also understand that a lot of men want women who look "real" as opposed to what the media is trying to sell us better than most as I worked in several industries that were "body driven". But I can also tell you that men being attracted to bigger boobs is a genetic thing as it was thought that wide-hipped, big breasted women were more likely to be able to bear children. That is NOT media-driven. That is in our genes. Women don't care who has big boobs or small boobs, they only want men to accept and love them the way they are.

And as Blue so eloquently put it - WOMEN WANT WHAT THEY THINK MEN WANT...

No woman gives a fahootie about the size of her breasts, but for the attention it garners from men.

Women don't care about their shoe size, eye color really, size of their hands, or size of their ears. Why the attention to bewbs?

Cause men get aroused when they see titties... period.

There are some men that prefer tiny little titties. Other men like that side-show freak cheap stripper feature fake ass gawd-awful bewbjobs. But there is no denying that MEN notice breasts much more than women as they find breasts to be SEXUALLY APPEALING.

If I could find a doctor that would give me tiny little titties that stand up and say, "Hello!" especially WITHOUT an implant I would. Hell, that is what I asked for in the first place. Doc said that wasn't feasible ten years ago. I would be thrilled to death if I NEVER had to wear a bra again... I am small. Tiny titties would send me to my grave happy. But *sigh* the Old Grump like hyuge hooters. So when I get mine replaced (unless I can find a doctor that can give me perky little ones WITHOUT an implant) I will go with *happy medium* same size I am now = C. I was never a C naturally before... only during pregnancy and that just ain't an option I am willing to consider. :lmao:

I think you're going to find that about 50% of the population (men AND women) feel it's guys pressuring women and the other 50% feel it's women pressuring themselves.

Everyone's experience is different. I'm speaking from my own perspective, that being one who wasn't genetically gifted with a decent rack and wished for better ones from a purely aesthetic (and selfish) point of view. I've never had cleavage and never did anything to conceal that fact (i.e., wonderbras) and I've been lucky enough to have never been in relationships with men who were "boob men" so I've never had to deal with that end of the world.

I just think plastic surgery is like getting a tattoo these days, everyone has a different reason and when you start painting everything with a single brush you're heading into sticky territory. Shit, my 65 year old sister in law just got lipo and a tummy tuck this summer (I shit you not). She doesn't have any plans on getting into a relationship, or even wearing a bikini, she just didn't like the way her body fit in clothing and finally had the money to do it.

As always... MM the voice of reason. :)

I think you are correct with your comparison between plastic surgery and tattoos... LOL

And kudos to your sister-in-law. I fully intend to go through life with all sorts of nips and tucks, but always to please ME... why I had my abdominoplasty and boobs done to begin with. I was a 30 year old woman with the boobs and tummy of a 65 y/o native from a National Geographic special that no amount of gymtime could rectify.

Was definitely my birthday present to me. :qt:
