If your parent became disable would you put them in a nursing home or take them in.

My parents are both remarried, so they have people to look after them if the need arises.

I love my parent's too much to NOT have them around. I would do whatever I had to do to keep them home with me. Sure, people at nursing homes are trained, but so are nurses you can HIRE to come to your home. It's not a guilt thing... it's a respect thing. They never shipped me off and I'll be DAMNED if I ship them off. Nursing home is not an option for me. Plain and simple.
