If Deca has a half-life of 6, then.............

Strong Island, for you, I will copy and paste part of that abstract, one more time.

"The following pharmacokinetic parameters were found: a mean half-life of 6 days for the release of the ester from the muscular injection depot into the general circulation; a mean half-life of 4.3 h for the combined processes of hydrolysis of nandrolone decanoate and of distribution and elimination of nandrolone; "

All right, if you insist, it's not 6 days, but 6 days and 4.3 hours.

Question for the guys that are injecting 300-400mg of deca. Are you guys doing this just once a week or are you injecting 300mg every fourth or fifth day? If you're only injecting 300-400mg once a week, then if the half life is 6 hours, how are you guys getting good results b/c blood levels would be 0 by the time it's time to take your shot. Maybe this is why some don't grow very well when they take this low of a dose. What does everyone think?

i'm injecting deca every 3 days. I'm doing a deca/ test cycle now and my injections are like this after one week of a little front load. just started yesterday :)

m - deca 200mg
t
w - test 250mg
th
f - deca 200mg

I agree "half-life" is the time for the body to metabolize half the amount injected. So by the sixth day you have one half of what you injected in your body yet to go, and then half of that is metabolized within the next 6 days, etc. So if you are injecting once every 6 days, you are actually steadily increasing the amount in your system because you are adding a full dose to the half left each time you inject every six days. Therefore 100mg minus 50mg = 50mg on the sixth day, then you add another 100mg gives you 150mg on the sixth day in your system. The next injection will give you 150/2=75mg plus another 100mg= 175mg on the third injection, and so on and so forth. Also, nothing's stopping you from injecting half as much every 3 days if you want to steady out the variance. Google "half-life." You owe it to yourself to read up about it.
