some trainer guy came up to me yesterday in the gym and he gave me his name, i gave my name. He asks my friend what he is doing. My friend shows him his program which our high school weightlifting program. then he asks me what i am doing. I said i am doing my own thing. He asks if i am getting results from it. I said yes, i gained 14 pounds the past 10 weeks. Then he asks is that mostly fat. I said half and half. Then he says we could make that all muscle. I was like i don't think so. He then starts telling me all this psuedo science like, "after you workout you run and this way you burn fat and turn it into muscle". I told him "fat is different tissue in the body then muscle, it is impossible to turn fat into muscle." then he asks another trainer guy who tries to prove me wrong but says stuff way different from the orignial guy said and stuff that i already know. In the end the original guy said, well i guess i meant to replace fat for muscle, which still doesn't make sense because if you are a skinny guy the first thing you do is build muscle with extra calories and then lose the fat later. So then the guy just left feeling stupid.
