I prefer being bulky than cut

Do you prefer being bulky or cut

Im 6'3 @ 200lbs with like 15% body fat. It's not really bulky...but it's not cut either.

Few months ago I was bulking and got my weight to 230lbs, my strength was higher and I was quite bulky. At 230lbs I decided to stop and I *cut* until I reached 185lbs. I was much weaker than at 230lbs but I looked really cut and my 6 pack was out, still the fact that I was weaker and that I no longer looked like a huge freak made me unsatisfied.

!WARNING! This is just my personal opinion... :verygood:
At my height , people respond more to me being built big than being cut. When you are tall, people respond more to you when you look big and massive rather than cut and fit.

Smaller guys look good when they are cut but I think tall guys with big frames look better when they are a bit bulky (not fat!).

True. Most people don't like the really really ripped look anyways. Apparently lots of veins are ugly

I disagree, I believe the average Joe admires most a well defined body than a freakishly big one. All the fashion models are cut and none is bulky (and most are :rainbow: too, but that is another thread). Sadly, fashion models (you know, abs, muscle separation, etc) is what fulfills most people idea of "fit"

I want a balance between larger than average bulk but well defined... don't really want to to for the skinny-looking ecto look, neither the massive BBer with 30 inches arms

At least most women I've talked to think that the ultra ripped look (with veins like a roadmap) think that it is disgusting. I don't think it is, but its hard to achieve and dangerous to keep. The level of well defined (what you are talking about) is not what I mean... I mean 2-3% bodyfat for onstage physiques.

Cut is good :)
