So far, Empire Strikes Back is the best one of all I have seen. Return of the Jedi was actually very very good, once you deleted all the Ewok scenes out of it. The opening sequence with Jabba the Hutt and the ensuing fight, the speeder bike race through the forests of Endor, Luke and Darth getting it on grudge match style. All that was great. It was just those fucking Ewoks that fucked the whole thing over and made it a laughing stock.

They fucked themselves over by incorporating the same child appealing element in Jar Jar Binks in the next two.

And anyone remember that Star Wars Christmas Story that was on tv? Atrocious. About Chewbacca trying to find his way home.

I was very well pleased with III but I tend to like a lot of action.

It is slanted for the younger group, I am starting to understand why my dad fell asleep when I took him to the first one back in the 70's.

I felt a bit old for parts of III at times. But I feel a bit old a lot these days.

Episode III was very good. The cheesey scenes between Annikin and Padame are tolerable, and actually have a lot to do with the plot this time.

I don't think Annikin's turn to the dark side and the events leading up to it were as effective as they could've been, and I don't think the ending was laid out right, but overall the movie was worth the $23 I spent ($15 for 2 tickets + popcorn and soda).

I think Samuel L Jackson could've been a bit more of a bad motherfucker, but that's ok, I can always watch Pulp Fiction for that.

i saw it last night... it was a really fun movie, and you get to see how badass anakin and obi wan can get. The scenes between Anakin and Padme get to be a little much... my favorite line was:
Anakin: You look beautiful
Padme: It's only because I'm in love
Anakin: No, its because I love you

pretty much the whole audience laughed at that
