I haven't been hungry this week.

What do you do when you just don't have any appetite? This week I just haven't been able to eat enough. I haven't been under any stress what-so-ever (hehe, maybe that's the problem  ), but after just a few bits of every meal I can't even force feed myself to eat the rest of it without feeling sick. I even stopped taking Thermorexin a couple days ago to see if that would help, but I'm still not eating enough. I've lost 5 lbs in 3 days (which is never a good thing), but my hydration levels have actually increased, so I'm not dehydrated. Any tips? My workouts haven't changed, no stress, I have energy throughout the day, but I'm eating next to nothing. :(

Wouldn't it be awesome if that was your body's way of saying "hey, your perfect now!!" lol

I sometimes feel like this (ahem...right now) and am force feeding myself fish and a banana! I'm not sure why this happens and I know I'm not much help, but I thought I'd let you know you're definitely NOT alone! Hopefully someone better versed on this subject can chime in soon...

Been there, lived that. *shakes head, looks at can of tuna and shakes head again*

Adrenal axis a bit off kilter? Have you ever considered a boost of some vitamin b12? Stilletto once pointed me in that direction years ago in reference to some powerlifting info, maybe even a simple bcomplex might be of service? I took some Red Ginseng a few years back and noticed that it did wonders for increasing my appetite (not at ALL what i was looking for at the time, actually)

I suppose the old tale of not hyrdrating for a minimum of 30 minutes prior to eating so that your gut is free to accept the food mass is worth a trial and error. Wait until you have consumed the majority of the meal before drinking anything at all. Good luck with this, hon, please post up if you find a good solution that leans toward the 'natural'?

I actually do take a b supplement daily, and although i haven't been drinking more water, my scale says my hydration level is up... which is more confusing since i don't feel a bit bloated and i'm five pounds lighter. for now i'm just going to try to eat less at once, but eat a couple more times during the day. hopefully that will help a bit.

*confused*

Your 'scale' says your hydration level is up? Are u relying a 'conduction' scale for water/fat % info? Goodness, those things are bad news, the 'boss' suggested I do a quick study; change the temp of my feet between readings, stand on the scale with dry feet then with wet feet, and clothed and in my pj's, I got numbers ALL over the range. I hate it when he is right! :)

I read something about even the amount of electrolytes in your blood at that very moment might change the reading due to conductivity changes.

Hmm. Interesting. That actually makes the hydration levels with the weight drop less confusing. My scale is wacko! :FRlol: I usually just use the scale for weight but I noticed how this was correlating with that and i thought it was strange.
