OK, i'm 6'4 240lbs (estimated 14% bf).. I want to cut though I have to be able to run 2-3 miles at an 8:00 minute pace (its for my job) and need advice on whats the best way to do this without losing muscle. I've been reading these boards for a while and I'm beginning to think that... a) i shouldnt be doing cardio & lifting in the same session... b) i should prolly be doing my running in the morning but should i do it on an empty stomach or would it be okay to eat some whey protein & water..or whey and oats before my running? also.. my time frame to workout is between like 8am-1pm .. should i try and get up and run in the early morning and then eat a good meal and then go to the gym around 11:30-12.. is that 2 hour resting session good enough ???... i'm just having problems deciding whats a good training and eating schedules.. any advice would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

In my opinion ...
(1) Cardio and lifting on same day OK.
(2) Don't overtrain. It shocks the body.
(3) Drink coffee before and during cardio ... no solid foods or you may puke.
(4) Examine your diet and purge out simple/fast sugars. Replace with veggies and more protein. You'll lose a lot of stored water and fat.

Others more knowledgeable about aas and cutting drugs can speak to that. However ... if your "job" requires testing and you are under an oath, leave the drugs alone. Eyeball the diet.
