I hate the media (Ron Paul)

The sad part about it is that if anybody OTHER than Ron Paul is elected NOTHING will change in washington! Same old bullshit will continue until our country is broke!

Some of Ron Pauls views seem outrageous to some people, but that is what we need!
 
A lot of people are scared of his foreign policy and not policing the world. He is smart on monetary policy, our constitutional rights and I just believe he would be the next step on helping out our economy and national debt.

Libertarians are smart people. He hasn't changed his views, never flip flopped and is just an all-around genuine guy. He has a shot at winning. Screw the media. Ron paul can do this. We just got to get out there and vote next year
 
It really is strange to see media organizations purposely leave him out at every opportunity. Their plan seems to be backfiring, the internet is the equalizer.
 
I am embarassed to admit that I have never voted before but I have recently sent in my voter registration card to participate in this election. Things have got to change in this country.
 
it is exciting to see the momentum that the he has this time around, though i'm afraid inevitably he won't win the GOP primary and will strike out third party, splitting the voters and handy obumbles another term.
i wonder who his running mate would be? not even sure if this is a possibility, but gary johnston would make a dynamic pairing...and if paul does get the nod (never gonna happen though the est will prevent it at all costs)...i expect a full court press from a lot of anti-paul groups, such as DEA/policing types, he would slash and burn their warfare dollars...
 
He's the only one who speaks the truth and is not bought and paid for. I wish everyone would see this. Ron Paul has my vote for sure!!

Heeyyy!!! That's what I try to tell ppl. Every 4 years ppl have expectation about some lying politician making some real change. It's all the same bullshit. Ppl fall for it every 4 yrs. He truly is the only one to save this county. We have to show our support, donate and vote. And everyone should be prepared for all the bullshit lies that come out in the next few weeks about Dr. Paul...

I think bino has a point here woot. Alot of ladies all of the sudden coming out of the wood work lately. Its a shame too because I wish they were all real. :(

The part that I don't understand is why the media seems to be backing away from him. Media on both sides! It's like the only thing that everyone agrees on?

It is obvious that they do not know how to deal with him.
He has a great answer to anything they say. I am wrong to say in terms of intelligence and experience he has everyone blown away?
It appears that way at the debates. Everyone knows that too and just tries to avoid him. He is a really smart guy.... the ind of guy that should... wait.. yeah run the country!

He has a great answer to anything they say. Am I wrong to say in terms of intelligence and experience he has everyone blown away?

What?? Lol @ you Lart for saying he is more intelligent and experienced than Newt. Newt has a 160-180 IQ- (genius), and was Speaker of the House. Quite possibly the best "speaker" ever in the history of the U.S.. Newt clearly is the best debater, he is way too intelligent for the rest of them fools.. He keeps creepin' up and creepin' up.. Ron Paul talks a big game because that is what you are supposed to do. Check Newt's Speaker of the House record other than leaving on funky terms his tenure was near flawless---if people can overlook his fidelity issues he wins hands down.. he is way tooo smart, just way too smart for the rest of them...

But look at Paul's platform...

"I'm going to cut everything so you people can do the fuck you want...but the government is not paying for it."

That's an awesome platform. I don't see why more people don't pick up on it. Instead, they spout their usual SIG platforms.

While that concept would work very well in any country, it would work disproportionately well in the US.

Under that plan, I bet it would take around two generations but we'd run the entire world economically even more so than if we had bombed it flat and invaded each country.
 
I like Ron Paul and the way he thinks, but the general public has not really come to grips yet with how bad of shape our country is in. The Democrats make them think government will fix it all, all we have to do is keep spending.

By the time the people are ready for him, he will be gone, what is he like 76?
 
Great, I am not sure if it was the mind blowing smarts of Newt or His vast experience that caused him to come up short for signatures in Virginia.
Maybe people just see through his bullshit.

For someone to claim that they think they should be president and they cannot even run a campaign to be president is pathetic.
He also shot the GOP in the foot with this one too. Bachmann= Joke Perry= PWNT's himself on a daily basis
Santorum= Newt JR.

I can't disagree with that. Right now, it's three dogs:

1) Mitt if you think we need a healer to deal with our polarized political environment. It wouldn't be hard to argue the benefit.

2) Paul if you like the blow-things-up approach. He may be too much change too fast, but it's hard to argue that his message is wrong.

3) Gingrich if you want a born-again conservative with Washington insider knowledge. He's smart, but he lacks a filter on what comes out of his mouth. He's also a great ideas guy, but great ideas guys always have to surround themselves with a lot of solid execution guys -- so where are his execution guys?

His execution guys probably left months ago for the same reason you just said.
His wives left him, his campaign team, and now the voters who were going to vote for him are next I think. We'll see..

It may come down to a healer versus a revolutionary.

I love Paul's message. But it's easy to argue we need a transition guy (i.e. Mitt) to heal the unbelievable polarization that has occurred.

That sounds like the game plan if I were Romney, how exactly I would verbalize that to people I don't know. I'd have to think about that one. I wonder if there will be an Independent candidate that gets votes and who it will be. I wonder who exactly is behind the Ron Paul smear campaign too.
