Ok so I did squats. All sets to failure
295x7
305x5
305x5
315x3

Then off to leg press, all sets to failure
610x7
640x5
640x5
660x3

Then GHR's and calves. So I get home and i figure out that I strained my obterator muscle in my left pelvic area/groin. I also have pain on the tibular-tubercle (bone right under the knee)

I was doing all my sets with 100% correct form, so could this just be from lifting too heavy? Even tho im on cycle? Thanks for the help bros

Yep, you just tweaked it bro. If you didn't feel th einjury as it happened working out, you just strained it. Probably not a big deal. Get in a hot tub, stretch it out, and ice it. Get it warm on the bike and do some easy stretching there too. If it feels fine next time you do legs, go for it.

My "tear drop" on my quad felt fucking rocked and sore a like I strained it last time I lifed legs. It's fine now.

Give it a few days. You'll be fine. Just listen to it. If i still hurts, do NOT lift on it again until it does feel good.

I have been PLing a little more than twice as long as you have been alive. I still do not have 100% perfect form. Neither dies Ed Coan, Captain Kirk or Andy Bolton. That is a pretty strong statement. Made additionally implausible since you claim to have gone each set to failure. As I'm sure you learned while getting your PT cert, the first sign of failure is a breakdown in form.

But I digress....

1) Never take every set to failure or you will hurt yourself.

2) You have some inflammation due to not following #1.

3) R.I.C.E. until it is better.

4) Gear does not make you invincible even though it may feel like you are. Train hard, but train smarter.

Also remember that steroids aren't going to prevent injuries....they are not like some magical invincibility potion...

Correct, it is probably safe to say they will make you more injury prone as well due to the sudden increase of strength which your tendons usually can't keep up with.

i got tendinitus in pubic symphasis (the tendon attaching the left and right pelvic bones 2 inches above the genitals). it was unbelieveably painful as it set in. i got it going too heavy, too fast. took 6 months to stop feeling like my balls were getting kicked every hour of everyday. took 5 years before i could train legs again without serious discomfort. be careful. let it heal properly. time off legs might be a good idea but thats your choice.

Damn! I can tell thats how i got it too, going too fast with heavy weight. I know it.

Its already 10x better, last night it hurt to walk, today i can barely feel it. Whats hurts the most is that bone right under your knee, it feels bruised on the outside but also hurts when i squat down low.:confused:
