The way they do it here, is they start pressing you to finish big projects a couple of weeks before they know they're going to get rid of you and as soon as they are done, or close enough, see you later! My boss has let me in on it a few times and it sucks 'cause I see that person carrying on with work and I just keep thinking that the poor bastard has no clue that he won't be here next week. Specially when I hear them talking to someone and they'll say something like "I'll buy lunch next week" and in my head I'll say, "no you wont".

Well Gambino, I know it sucks but try to look at it as a new chapter in your life. A chapter where things get better.
