I finally hit 10 chinups today!!

I did 13 once using a military style form (suppinated form). I weighed only 160 at the time though.

iv done 20 once...

i can do like around 12-15 comfortably, and 10 with 10 lbs strapped on, and i did 9 with 15 pounds, then 6 with 20 pounds, then 4 with 25

Are we talking wide grips here? As far as I'm concerned those are the only ones, I usually do 5 sets of 10 with 25lbs hanging from my waist.

I do them slightly wider than shoulder width, seems to hit my lats best. Also, I use an overhanded grip.

Last week I managed two sets of 3 with my chin just about scraping the bar. First set with a wide overhand grip and the second with a close underhand grip. I weigh somewhere 260-270. I was very pleased to be able to do reps. :)

Congrats on the big 10.

I'm at 25 for Wide Grip right now, For chin ups I'm guessing somewhere in the area of 30, but I could be wrong. Oh yeah I'm 165lbs and do 3 sets of 15 everyday before I start my normal routine.. Works pretty well.

At 165 I can do 15. Can do 2-3 with an added 45 lbs. Always been one of my strongest lifts. Mmm can't wait to start hitting those heavy again in a couple weeks.

Im not sure what the difference is between chin-ups and pull-ups. What I call chin-ups is a wide grip with palms facing away from my face. Pull-ups I always though were underhanded with a closer grip. Doesnt matter to me aslong as I do em! I do mostly chin-ups though.

chins -> palms facing you with close grip
pulls -> palms away with wider than chin grip

pulls are harder than chins.

if u can do 10 PULLUPS! @ 250lbs im fucking impressed! cuz u got nice lat strength. i do like 14/12/8/5 PULLUPS @ 185lbs. not chinups cuz chinups are a waste of time, truly.

They're not a waste of time. The lats are recruited either way. The difference between supinated and pronated is nominal.

Still, 10 chinups at 250 lbs. is pretty good. Congratulations. Now go strap weight to your waist and bang them out with lower reps.

Not sure about all that. I can do the same amount of Chins and Pulls. I do 3 -10 sets of L(feet pointed forward)-Pull/Chins twice a week.
