I am Going To Try to Change A Law - Any Ideas for Help

My premise for the fight is the loud muffler law should not apply for motorcycles. Lets face it loud pipes save lives. I don't know how many times I have revved my pipes to keep dumb butt motorist from running right into me. I mean those moron car drivers just can't see us but they can hear ya.

My argument is going to be that can't people deal with a little loud noise a minute at the most to save another riders life?

So what do you think my chances are? What should be my first step write all the officials I know and then start trying to get on radio stations and then eventually rally on Austin's congress like the bikes did to get the stupid helmet law revoked?
