Humans Were needed In Alien Vs Predator

The rite of passage deal was explained in the movie or was plainly obvious to me from the basic explanation given during the movie. The shifting period was to make the hunt more difficult. The humans were needed but certainly it wasn't worth all the wasted time doing what they passed off as "character development". I would have rather them focused more on the predators and have the hunt last longer.

Agreed. I guess hollywood thing they always need to put a human element in even if it doens't warrant it. Yea it would have been cool to focused more on the predators and the hunt.

Good movie. The pyramid was definately a right of passage for the young predators. I only wish the intro was shorter and more alien v. predator fighting. A few badass marines would have been cool to but it would not have fit the storyline.

Dude in the interview I linked they say there is more alien vs predator action and they explain more about the incabation(sp) time with the aliens in the humans. Some how they shoot up the alien mother with harmones. They also said there will be no off screen deaths. You will see all the killing and gore. The movie was suppose to be R in the first place. So the director basically said don't judge me until you see the directors cut. That is putting his butt on the line.
