humalin r vs humalog?

yes, it's OTC here aslo, i was just wondering if the humalog would be worth the 10 minute drive. i'm asking if it's that much better.

anybody know that half life of gh?

Humalog is NOT OTC in Canada, although most smaller pharmacies will give it to you without a prescription. I'm diabetic, and i've been denied and had to show my RX many times before...

The half-life of GH is about 2 hours. If you are using insulin solely to compliment exogenous GH, then humalog is a good chioce. If you are interested in using insulin for it's own anabolic properties, then actually a slow insulin is better. I have use long acting insulin for the AM dose, and then humalog with the GH injection after lifting in the late afternoon....excellent results.
My Canadian friends seem to have no problem getting humalog, so I assume it is otc, or at least treated that way by most pharm's.

What about people saying that GH is ineffective in the body when insulin is high and to therefore keep the slin/GH shots apart?
