Hulk Hogan’s Divorce Details Go Public

Details surrounding the divorce settlement between Terry Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, and ex-wife Linda Bollea have surfaced in an article in the St. Petersburg Times. The two were divorced in 2009, but specifics of their financial settlement were unknown until now.

So much for 50/50. Linda Bollea received more than 70% of the couple's liquid assets. But the pain doesn't stop there for the Hulkster. His ex also received a 40% ownership stake in Hulk's companies. Plus, she received a $3 million property settlement (more on that below).

The St. Petersberg Times writes that "the confidential financial settlement came to light this week after it was attached to a new motion filed by Terry Bollea's attorneys."

So, what are the gritty details? According to the documents, Linda Bollea got a lump sum of $7.44 million from the couple's investment accounts. The remaining $2.97 million went to the Hulk.

The properties were either sold or are still on the market. The couple's home used in "Hogan Knows Best" was originally listed for nearly $14 million. It is now available for around $8.87 million. Once that sells, Hogan will owe his ex-wife $1.45 million. The two will split the remaining proceeds.

Additionally, Linda Bollea received several cars in the split, including a Mercedes-Benz, a Corvette, a Cadillac Escalade, and a Rolls-Royce. Hulk received many of the remaining automobiles.
It may sound like Hulk got body slammed, but it's not all bad news for the iconic wrestler. Deadspin explains that the Hulkster will get to keep any money he earns from personal appearances and will not have to pay alimony.

By celebrity standards, Hulk and Linda had what could be considered a pretty successful marriage. :FRlol: They were together for roughly 26 years and had two children, Nick and Brooke. Their reality program, "Hogan Knows Best," ran for four seasons.

DIdn't seem like she was really all that much helping Hulk out with his various business ventures....seemed like your typical run of the mill stay at home but run up the husbands credit care type moms. I could understand if she had a hand in helping him earn that money, like did part of the business. 50/50 would seem more than fair for her. It sucks cause you see the hulk on TNA and he doesn't look good, like he's beaten down. You kind of get the feeling he's tired of this shit but I guess what can he do? He's gotta keep wrestling. His daughter bombed out of the music biz right?

from doing teh unregulated jooooose

no he's still got the physique, that will probably be there till he's 90....it's just his face. It's hard to describe, he looks perpetually sad...even when he's trying to be the hulkster out there, it's just not there anymore. He really looks like he utterly hates his life.

redsamurai, you're right. Sadly, he does look like a beaten man, and it's really showing in his face. He's still got a killer physique for a man his age, but the whole divorce thing has really taken it's toll on him. It's always difficult to watch a legend fall from grace.

How on earth do you know what part she played in his business ventures?? Because you saw a few episodes of their "reality" show? LOL spare me

lol, have you seen/heard her? not to judge a book by its cover but I'm thinking she's more of a leaflet/flyer than a book :) Bear in mind this 'lady' was allegedly banging some 20yr old in the Hulk's house while he was forced to move out of his own home into some rented accommodation. Doesn't mean she isn't businesswoman of the year on the downlow of course, but she doesn't exactly create a favourable impression.

Redsam just "feels" these things.

It's best to secure his gut instinct first -- then do the exact opposite.

I swear I'm gonna make a million off him in Vegas one day.

no you're right I could be wrong...I never really watched the show either. I mean I passed by it a few times but it was terrible. I'm making those assumptions based on interviews he's given in the past. And no i never ever ever watched the show unless it was in passing for a few seconds.

This^^^

And to be fair she doesn't necessarily make an unfavorable impression....I'll bet she had to put up with a shitload from Hulk during his professional heyday. And I'll say that her and the kids are probably a good bet as to why Hulk didn't end up like most of the other guys like ole Razor Ramon. Flair and Hogan though, man they're still at it.

What what what??? You wrote something you didn't know anything about?

I simply cannot accept that. There has to be a mistake here.

On this one you can make an educated assumption because that family's personal life for the last few years has been completely laid bare. If she was an integral part of his business ventures it would be more known. So it's not like you for instance making commments on the actual physics behind cold fusion and doubting nobel prize winning physicists. "THAT" is truly talking out of your ass.

LOL!
Contradictory posts on the same page = teh win, irregardless of the subject.

squidly conjuring up contradiction where it clearly doesn't exist for the double win!!!

:lmao:

I said I didn't watch the show, not that I don't know who Linda Hogan was nor how she portrayed herself in public. But you will see what you want to see so you can post a blurb.

I think she is a foul woman but now realizing, there are two sides to every story, maybe Hogan was not a charm to be with.
I watched the show a few times, but you cannot base the reality of their lives from that. I am sure there was more to their marriage than we saw.
Women are always made out to be the "bad guys" when many times, men have pushed them to their limits.

What planet do you live on where women are made out to be the bad guys lol

I don't know Linda's involvement in teh Hulkster's enterprises, nor am I schooled as a divorcee attorney

butt, I'd have to say he got his mud pushed in dry (also something I have little first hand knowledge about)
