HRT, Melatonin, and labido question

Hi guys and gals

I'm a 42 year old male and totally new to the forum (although I have been lurking and browsing for a long time). I had testicular cancer, surgery and radiation therapy in 2002, and was put on hormone therapy in 2003/4. Since then I've had Sustanon 250 jabs every few weeks or Nebido (testosterone undeconoate 1000mg) when supplies of Sustanon are low.

I've been unhappy with the Nebido substitute and decided to source my own Sustanon 250. I've found a good and legitimate supplier and began pinning just over two weeks ago. Everything seemed to be going really well. I mean, my bodyweight slowly increased, my energy and concentration levels were much better than previous weeks, and I felt basically, great. However, HRT sides for me - in the past - included poor sleep on occasion, and awakening during the night with a pounding heart beat. To combat this, this time around, I decided to supplement with melatonin. I've been taking around 5mg per night for the past week or so and I've been sleeping like a baby.

I feel pretty good on the whole, but there is something missing: libido and morning erections.
I'm totally sure the Sustanon 250 is the real deal. All the tell tale signs are there...but no sex drive or morning glory...zilch. :worried:

I'm thinking that maybe melatonin might be responsible but there is no evidence to support this but anecdotally in other users and uncontrolled trials.

Do any of you folks know if melatonin could have such a drastic effect on sex drive and the efficiency of Sustanon 250. I'm considering discontinuing the melatonin, but would be interested in your thoughts and/opinions about the possibility.

Many thanks for your input and advice.

I use melatonin and inositol to help me sleep, no sexual side from them either.

I would look into other common side for lack of libido such as high BP, high estrogen/progestins etc. Since you changed test, id suggest getting full labs to see where you are sitting for all your hormones.

Thanks for your responses. The estrogen influence on my test is a very interesting point.
I reckon I'll ask the docs for a blood panel on all the related hormones to make sure.
Cheers everyone.
