My wife's blood work is:

Thyroid
TSH 2.810
T4 6.8
T3 up 29%
FreeT4 2

IGF1 132
serum Test 44
free test 1.2

Progesterone 1.8

Estrogens, total 122

weight 170
height 5'4"
BFI 30

She plans on being 130 lbs for the Holidays.

She is shooting for a weekly caloric deficit of 6,000. She will be taking 2 units daily of HGH. A little transdermal test. Transdermal progest. T3 50 mcg per/day. Various suplements.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. The rejuv clinic she is using doesn't have much experience with female customers.

Thank you.

I can't speak to the actual hormone stuff and her test readings -- if the clinic is helping her w/ that , then I assume that they are basing their prescriptions on established medical guidelines. I would also probably say stick with them, maybe consider or research an opinions you get here, but we ain't docs for the most part, and don't play one on tv...

But to the diet and training part ---- 40 lb in 6 months is very doable.

But -- can you give us more detila -- need to know:

1) what is her current (or intended?) diet -- please list in detail w/ times, portions, etc. and best to put it into a food counts program like www.fitday.com (free, online, very easy to use) to get the total calories & see what the macronutrient breakdown is. e.g.

Meal 1: 8 am
4 egg whites
1/2 c oatmeal

Meal 2: 11 am
5 oz chicken
2 c spinach salad
1 tbsp vinaigrette

etc.

Total cals: xxxx
Macros: x grams (y%) protein / x grams (y%) carbs / x grams (y%) fats

2) current or planned training & cardio

How do you arrive at the 6000 weekly cal deficit -- just looking for whatever approach you may have a lready planned or if any, and then we can talk about ways to tweak for better progress.

I don't think she needs to do anythign special in her diet & training relative to the supps. Maybe just one question re: the T3 -- is that part of the HRT cocktail or does she have thyroid issues that maybe need to be considered in the diet?
