How to get bloodwork done without a doctor

The best way to prevent problems is by doing blood work. there is NO EXCUSE not to, if you can afford gear you can afford blood work.

You should always perform bloodwork:

1. Pre cycle to flag any issues
2. During cycle to see if your gear is legit or to check on any odd side effects like gyno, heart issues, liver issues, etc.
3. post PCT to make sure you fully recovered.

Luckily if you live in the USA like most of us do you can easily go online, print out blood work and than go into lab corp literally the same day and get your bloods done for a very cheap price.

Great post Steve. No one likes getting blood work done but it is very important. You can't rely on symptoms because each person is effected differently. You might feel perfectly fine but there might be something really wrong with your hormone levels.

This is your health you are talking about. It's a small price to pay to ensure you stay healthy.

If you read through the info on the web site, it seems that they will not perform your blood work if you are a resident of the listed states, even if you go to the state next door. You need to provide an id, which usually lists your state of residence. If you have recently moved, they advise you to bring proof of your new residence.

I would be curious if anybody from the "banned" states have actually succeeded in having their blood work done "next door."

it is completely anonymous blood work. if they ask for your ID politely decline and tell them that you are not required to show it as you are running hormone blood work, not getting drug tested.

last time I went in the nosey prick asked me if I was getting tested for MMA. I took it as a compliment otherwise I would have told him that it wasn't his FUCKING business what i was doing there but i didn't want to make a scene. I really can't stand when people get in other peoples shit, thats why i get my shit anonymously done

This is one valuable post here, since many struggle with getting their blood works done, and I do agree with you that you should really get three blood works done for cycling.
 
Be glad you guys have this option. North of the border here we have to go through a doctor to get blood work done. There is no private way to get it. No excuses not to get proper blood work when running gear.

the female hormone panel does contain ALT and AST so your liver is covered.

kidney function i wouldn't bother getting unless you have existing kidney issues. again female hormone panel has several kidney values anyway

so save your money and just get female hormone panel and add prolactin if you want to know that

here are my results

cycle ended July 1 (test were done sept 19)
cycle 10 weeks test 250 mg
12 weeks 400 mg eq
4 weeks tbol 50 mg daily
6-7 weeks anavar 40 mg

pct (was a light/Nolvadex )

I dont drink or take any RX meds at all, but this summer i was consuming on a vary regular basis edible marijuana (after research hits kidney and liver values)

so i think if i wasnt such an evening stoner - my results would better. i only plan eat weed on weekends now - I personally love that shit - haha - legal out west :)

essentially your BUN/creatinine levels will be elevated since you are a weight lifter.. that is normal. if you stopped lifting weights 2 weeks and then tested i bet results would be normalized.

also your HPTA is recovering but not 100% recovered because your FSH is lagging. that is going to be the last thing to recover. so I wouldn't hop back on cycle quite yet. give it 4 more weeks and i would be using a natty T booster in the mean time

overall, i am happy with my blood work for someone who competes at the national level. 34 years old, several cycles under my belt

6'2'' 230lbs off season

i have some teenage gyno that popped up 6 months after my show/cycle (I got over 13% and I woke up with it 1 day) so i will need to add letro

2.5 EOD 5 times
1.25% EOD 5 times
.625% EOD 5 times

and work to get my test over 600.. i feel i can do this in 3 months no problem
