How the hell do I get over my fear of taking a needle?

ok two things i do, dtbb told me to always heat my winny, goes in so smooth no pain the next day. radar told me to push out a bit of oil when i am doing oils and it goes in like butter. man i was afraid, now i actually love needles. i don't even use 25's 22 or 23 it goes in like nothing. u can't feel it. just jab it and dont flinch, then you'll never have trouble again. DO IT you'll be fine. i have no fat either and its fine goin in

Well...I don't care for needles myself but who's in control, the needle or YOU? I would just have your wife do it and close your eyes and have her stick you. It really barely stings man, honestly.

That is what I am thinking- I figure- she gives these things out all day long- if she screws me up her ass has to live with me.. not her patients.

Hmm, how did they used to get Mr. T on airplanes? Didn't the crazy guy just jab him in the leg with something to make him pass him out? Yeah, try that. Or you could tie a string around the needle just so and attach it to a door, and when you slam the door shut it jabs your ass.... When your done, beat up the door, lol.

Your firs one is always the hardest....just make sure you commit when you do it...cause the needle dulls everytime you put it against your skin.....once you break the skin the rest is easy....luckily for me my wife does mine.

I used a 21g in my thigh, I felt a little 'pull' on the surface of the skin, but I felt absolutely NOTHING once it penetrated, I was jittery as hell, but now I am 100% comfortable with it. I sat there did the aspiration, and nada, so I did the injection, neutralized the area, and voila! I was a little upset with myself for being such a crybaby before that. Took me 2 hours to psyche myself up for it the first time, the second time I was as carefree as I could be and did it right away.

I feel your pain.. I was always scared of needles so when I decided to do my first cycle I thought I had completly lost it...

I sat in the room with the needle for over an hour just looking at the thing and getting more and more scared.. guaranted the retard that gave me the needles gave me the biggest one I have ever seen... I finally got up the courage to try and the needles were to long for my arm so I put in my butt... Took me a good 20 minutes to break skin and I freakin was covered in sweat...

Moral of the story.. Get SMALL, THIN needles... dont look at first... get comfortable on your bed and just relax... then just do it.. the first time is the worse after that it gets easier...

be happy you have someone to do it for you. i have shaky hands and dont have a soul to help, so im in on my own. i been trying to think of someone i trust but its a fairly scary thing.
