How often do you eat tuna?

What about mercury?. I think 2 cans per day is too much but I think the FDA recommends limits only for pregnant women and kids. But they say kids should be limited to 2 seafood meals per week of low mercury seafood. Light tuna is considered low mercury, but white albacore is high mercury. I'd say 2 cans of albacore per day would not be safe.

All the canned tuna is actually albacore, unless rules are different in us than canada, all bluefin tuna is shipped overseas because the mercury content is too high for resale in this country, google "tuna calculator" u punch in your weight age gender and it produces amount of tuna in grams per wk your body can process safely, along with breakdown of brand qualities

What You Need to Know About Mercury in Fish and Shellfish

with me it's at least 2 times per day!

For me it's almost four times a day if I don't have any white fish alternative, but I rinse it off in a wired strainer before eating it if it's from the pouch. Otherwise I prefer to buy the steaks from the market. Whole Foods is somewhat reasonable and you can verify the source of the meat, but Trader Joes is also decently priced on a lot of their frozen fish and meats too!
