How much Tyson should I eat a day?

One serving is 100 calories. There are two servings in a fillet.
I keep hearing that I need to up my protein, and also to rid my diet of the junk, so I need to replace some of these calories.

Right now I eat about 3/4ths a fillet.

Should I allow myself, maybe, 4 servings of this chicken daily (2 fillets, total of 400 calories)? Or even more?

According to certain facts about portion sizes, a piece of chicken is the size of a deck of cards :rolleyes:

Build your WHOLE DIET "around" your protein. One gram of protein per lb of body weight. Once you get all the protein figured out, add the other calories in fat and carbs (keeping them about equal between the two).

How many ounces is the chicken breast and what's the protein per filet?

Wow, thats great advice. I never knew to do this.

A 100 calorie, four-ounce portion has 23 grams of protein. I believe each fillet is about 8 ounces, so, 46 grams per fillet.

I weigh 138, so I need 3 fillet's worth of protein daily. This would be 600 calories.

So if I can't find enough protein from other sources, eating 2-to-3 fillets of chicken a day is really what I want to be doing, right?

Get your protien from chicken breast or tenderloin, turkey breast or tenderloin, lean red meat, fish, seafood....protien shakes.....

lots of options for protien.

It should and will take me a long time to get through them all.
A long time well spent and UNwasted, knowledge gained, and the road for future success alot LESS bumpy... I say it's worth it :) Knowledge is power... educate yourself ... :)
