How much pay does a personal trainer receive?

No shit, i know it fluctuates heavily, but you know , by what you've seen in your gym, how much?

depends gym useally takes a cut, or a big cut that is...i got 60 an hour...gym took 40, leaveing 20 which is still 20 bucks an hour

It;s not a big money job. There are guys at high end gyms in NY city or LA that can make $100 per hour, but that's very few and far between.

You're lucky to get $20 per hour, which is not a lot of money, even if working 40 hours per week. And who wants totrain people that much?

The gym im at takes 60%, you get 40%, obviously better if you can do it on your own.

My Gold's has a deal with Fitness Check. The trainers there make $20 an hour, but keep it all and Gold's has them offer 2 free visits in return for the space they get rent free and of course they can harp theat when they are trying to sell memberships.
