My total expenses, rent, utilities, ins, daycare, etc. (once I close on my house) are $1,600 right now. With the house I'm close to $3K because I had the renters' water included. Had positive revenue from the rent, but the issues the house has are canceling that out. I plan to live very lean for a couple of years and then figure things out. I didn't grow up with a ton, so it's no big thing. Honestly, it makes me appreciate the little things more than when I had more. Most importantly, my pet human.
