How much do you pay for your gym?

Well, whats your membership costs?

$70 here per month which is great value. Not the most modern gym but it sure builds muscle!!

30 a month. i wish my town had a 24 hour gym. I have strange sleeping paterns. Everyone at the gym bitches about that too. I'm actually thinking about opening up one.

$160 for one year, has everything I could want besides the long drive

well maybe besides some bumper plates and a platform but ya know

I paid $600 for a year at Golds Gym it's more now but I got a special because it was new when I paid for my contract it still does not have enough weights in my opinion, To much damn Cardio equipment

I had a Golds for 35 mo. includes childcare, and a 24hr $19 mo. from 1995. sucks because where I am golds just closed down.
Anyone been to or belong to Equinox?

$150 per year, choice of three locations all within 5-10 mins pedalling and free use of sauna and steam rooms. Not a bad deal.

250 for 6 months for my wife and I with home town and Corporate Discount. It is a community center but actually has rather nice selection of weights and equipment. I think it would have been 450 for a year for my wife and I. If you love out of county and don't work in the county I think it runs 100 to 200 extra, not sure. Due to Toyota/JCI and other major businesses donating money to them and ithe hometown discount is taxes going to the place. Opening up a nice local water park up by next year I think.

Rumor going around of a Gold's Gym opening up in the area. There is one but it is around a 30 minute drive and I'm moving 30 minutes FURTHER away from it so, no go on that one. But if they open one up here I'll tour.

nada, the y fucked up before and instead of refunding my CC, they let it ride out, and then forget to start chargin again. I've saved over $200 ($24 a month, which ain't even that bad). Don't hate on me though I also belong to another Y in my hometown....

$22 month which is very cheap around here since I have been locked in for a few years, however since I messed my wrist up I am thinking of just working out at home and let my membership run out.

70 bucks a month and you say thats a deal?!

you're nuts

37/month.

Biggest gym I have ever seen, clean. Lots of equipement. The only thing they need is more dumbell and some more benches. They have a lot but need even more.

i work out in a gym which is an old factory.

aluminum shed, no a/c, dumbells up to like 150+, full mirrors, maybe 2-3 treadmills

old school shit. no faggoty "body by jake" machines or soccer moms doin yogalates.

hardcore. nothin but good 'ol meatheads. and not a rubber weight in sight.

That right there should tell you how the gyms are in my area.

same here. mines $19/month with no contract and instead of an old factory mines in a basement of some old warehouse in the ghetto, lol

I go to 24hr fitness. My first 3 years were approximately $700 total ($233/yr or $19/mo). After that the renewal was $100/yr ($8.33/mo).

The local meathead gym was $25/month (crappy, dirty gym with tons of photoshoots.).

True story. Someone at work told me about Steamworks at a gym. I thought..what the hell...I'll check it out online. Talk about your Blue Oyster.

But then again, I'm a canuck. We're all like that.

3 different gyms I could use:

$70 a month = Lifetime Fitness
$60 a year for Ballys (grandparents had it for years and transferred it)
Free at the school however I dont really use the facilities there..

My choice = #1

I' ve not had to pay for a gym membership in over two years.

Hubbies company has a "fit for life program" and they pay 100% of our membership.

I signed my life away but get to work out at some really good gyms for free now.
