i want the autograph of the person who military presses more than 350 for reps.

well u can have mine in a couple of months :D after my winny cycle i should be hitting at for a good triple. :D im keeping my fingers crossed.

I've done 315 for 5 reps in seated military presses. I was doing winny and test at the time, but 6 months after I got off it, I was still working out with 295 for reps (8). My new gym doesn't have a military press in there, so I had to resort to seated d-bells.

You guys all seem to go pretty low on reps. I personally only go as low as 6. Is it better to go to lower reps on the military press. I may give this a try.

low reps just means you can use more weight for more power......... that is how you build up your strength for the higher rep days

I read somewhere that a russian actually had a an unofficial max of 521lbs.That the military press was considered to be too much like a seated bench press so it was discounted as one of the big lifts and not used in powerlifting.I've read about people in the 400 range.I had little to no idea just how big a 300lb plus military press was to be considered.

db press- 45s for reps (YEAH baby!!!)... (50 for 3 1/2 :) )

starting on military presses next week ...(couldn't do them b4 because of an ab pull, (i know ab??? you're saying, yes ab... transverse to be exact, and shoulder presses aggrivated it more than ANYTHING else!!))
