How much Cardio?

I just started to diet this week. I am going to be dieting for 8 weeks. How much cardio should I be doing every week?
 
If you just started your diet, you shouldn't be doing any cardio, wait until you hit a platue in your dieting, then add in cardio later. Don't use all your ammunition at first, because then you won't have anything to get you past your sticking points. be smart about it, think about it :)
 
I do cardio 7 days/week. I do that because if I take a day off then I want to take the next day off and so on. So I just do it everyday.

Kinda agree with Manny cause yesterday for instance after my lifting session (which was about 40 minutes) my heartrate was at least 165bpm! Trust me, ever since I lifted hard for at least 30-45 minutes, I cut my cardio down to 2 times a week and still stay at my weight.
