Kinda agree with Manny cause yesterday for instance after my lifting session (which was about 40 minutes) my heartrate was at least 165bpm! Trust me, ever since I lifted hard for at least 30-45 minutes, I cut my cardio down to 2 times a week and still stay at my weight.
