I don't know to be honest. My maintenance diet is just good clean foods (mostly) as much as I want. My only rule of thumb is that I eat my protein and veggies before my carbs. I find my appetite controls things nicely when I eat this way.

Of course it's a different matter when I'm dieting...

Pretty much the same here. Through a lot of trial and error, I have figured out what works for me. So I stopped counting and journaling a long time ago. If I start feeling "fluffy", I know exactly what I need to do.

I am cutting right now so I am eating 2600, my bulking calories are between 3100 and 3300, I am 5'3" and weigh 135. I am keeping my calories high so I don't loose all the muscle I am building. I hope I will end up @ 125 in 8 weeks.

I don't really count either, but anywhere between 1300-2000/day for cutting. All depends on what I'm doing that day or the following day that I may need extra energy (food) for. I have a basic "menu" of things I normally eat, and if I'm hungry, I'll add a little more at each meal or throw in a 6th meal (I normally have 5).

Sounds exactly like me. :)

I'm about the same as Daisy and Figure. I try to keep my calories between 1300-2000 if I'm cutting and split it up between 5-6 meals depending on how late I'm up til or how hungry I am. I'm a strong believer that it's not good to feel really hungry and not eat. I also try to stick to "real food" like veggies, oatmeal, chicken, fish, cottage cheese, etc instead of supplements. Though I do supplement protein into my diet...especially at work where it's WAY more convenient to have shakes then prep food.
