How many of you all run hard at least once a week?

I think it is the key to a great physique. It also does fantastic things for your sense of well being.
 
I used to run hard before I did my first cycle. I gained so much weight that now, running is hard on my back and knees. I hope it's just my body's way of adjusting b/c I really like to run and do sprints and I don't want to become "muscle bound." I agree with you that running hard is truly exhilarating, not to mention the great things it does for your heart and the fat burning benefits.

the same thing happened to me until I did a cycle with the specific goal of strengthening my ability to run. I ran as hard as I could for 20 minutes 5 days a week and it did wonders. I lost no weight, actually gained some, and ended up with diesel runnning legs and calves and now can run hard almost everyday and it is fantastic. It got rid of the fat muscle bound thuggish look that the first cycle was giving me. Its funny because everyone though I lost weight after I started running alot even though I just lost fat and actualy gained some lean mass in my legs. My family was all like, I am so glad you stopped lifitng weights, you look so much better now, you were getting to big. I tired to explain to them I hadn't stopped lifting and I hadn't lost any weight I had just lost fat.
 
I run hard all the time. I have to keep up with my running while I’m on a cycle because I gain so much weight it slows me down. And I can't afford to be slow at the receiver position. If I keep cycling the way I am, I won't need to worry about my receiver position because I'll be a Linebacker :D

Very interesting. I'd like to do that too... a cycle centered around running, losing fat, upping your cardio ability, and putting on a modest amount of lean mass. That sounds great! Did you get more cut up and defined? What kind of cycle did you do? Give me details... drugs, doses, calories, lifting, running, before and after stats. Thanks bro.

My arms got alot better looking and so did my legs and calves. I would say the best benefit was to my calves. Here is what I did

calories: I ate as much as would satisfy my appetite but always ate clean. The aim of that cycle was to strengthen my running ability, not to lose fat, that happened anyways as a bonus.

lifting: I lifted like normal, 5 days a week for 1/2 hour to an hour on top of the running.

running: I went on instinct and just pushed myself as far as I could everyday. I would only stop if my knees hurt and would never go more than 30 minutes at a time total cardio. I switched between biking/walking and running if I needed a break.

Drugs/dosages(I am heavily prone to gyno and need 1mg arimdex per day with 500mg or else problems begin):

clomid/arimidex post cycle of course (this is if you want to go off, I kept bridging however with 100mg test per week which I have elected to do year round)

I had some halo which I threw in during weeks 8-9 prework out at 20mg every couple of days, for fun.

I find arimidex is as good as clomid if not superior to bringing natural test levels back, combining the two is amazing! I took arimdex alone at 1/2mg a day for a while and my balls swelled up real big)

I don't like to run test and antiestrogens for more than a month or else I get side effects I don't like. I have found that I make great results by simply stacking a phsyiological replacement dosage of 100mg on top of primo and winstrol. It amplifies the effects of the primo/winny cycle tremendously, there is no need for antiestrogens and there no added side effects, the feeling of well being with this combo is tremendous!

I run 3 times a week. I run first thing in the morning about 3 miles each time. Love the results i have seen.
 
Talk about running hard...
during my last cutting phase I did that HIIT shit. MAN O MAN, what a workout...but I loved the results!:D
 
ya, but like cuts said, if you gain alot of weight really fast in your upper body it can become much more difficulty to run. Even 10lbs can make a world of difference. You get winded much easier, your legs fatigue faster, and your knees and back start to hurt. I got over this with that cycle I talked about.
 
Horny, I like the concept of throwing in a test @ 100mg/week to replace endogenous losses... sounds logical. But you didn't mention what were your stats before and after. How much fat did you lose? How much muscle did you gain? Also, do you think a "running-centered" cycle should be based on Primo & Winny, or are there other things I could use? How about Fina or EQ?
 
Great info, Horny! Just one thing: when you eventually go off the 100mg test, won't it be extremely difficult getting your own production back in line again? I mean, won't your own production be completely inhibited at dosages of 100mg/week?

As of now, I am on 80-100mg of test per week for life. I made the decision about a year ago. (its great for stress, it makes it so that you don't really lose weight if you have a stressful week at work or school, I beleive this is because all the cortisol will normally lower your natral testosterone levels very low and the cortisol will just eat you up, this of course doesn't happen with me).

Here are some important little know facts about taking 80-100mg/week:

a. It doesn't inhibit FSH, it only inhibits LH. Therefore my balls remain near full size (i would say they are always at about 90 percent, they were big to begin with so its fine)

b. It is a "replacement" dose but the fact it that it is more test than most guys make per week. It si very high end normal testosterone levels.

OF course you can do it with any aas. Fina and eq would probably be more effective in many ways. You'd gain more water weight though.

one more thing is that I talked to a dotor about it who is very knowledgeable. He is a leading endocrinologist. He said that unless I am on the stuff for like 20 years, if I ever want to go off for whatever reason it should take about 3 months and my normal testosterone levels wil come back. THis is if I just quit cold turkey and don't use clomid. He didn't know that I cycle big dosages though so this might effect things. Anyways, he seemd to have the mentality that the natural production will come back even if it is totaly supressed for along time, it will just take awhile (He says he has seen it). I would be the king of atrophy of course if I chose to do it. I probably would end up weighing 140 or something with an ass that I couldn;t even stand up with.
