An easy way to convert kg to lbs is to take the number and multiply x 2 and add 10 percent example: 100 kg = 220 lbs 100 x 2 = 200 plus (20)10 percent of the same 200 = 220 120 kg = 264 lbs 120x2 = 240 + 24 = 264 lbs 225kg = 496 lbs 225 x 2 = 450 + 45 = 495 Ya gotta remember this will get you in the ballpark. The weights won't be exact because of the 2.2046 actual weight.

JollyRogers New member Mar 14, 2003 #7 yeah, 10 kilos is 5 pounds its almost half ..a bit more but ruffly anything in kilos is cut in half to = pounds so like 20 pounds is like 10kg thats how i do it, but I dont ussally have to convert as my weights are already in poundages.
