I suppose my question is aimed at people that were close to their peak before they cycled. I also suppose that I am talking about gains, and not bloat. I've done two cycles now. My first was dbol only and I'd say my arms went from a little over 15 inches to 15 and a half. Now I am finishing my second cycle, and despite gaining about 15 - 18 pounds, I think I will be lucky if I can keep my arms at 16 inches. They were blown up to about 16 and a half, which I was loving, but around week seven of the cycle, they shrank down to just over 16. It really bummed me out.
So how many cycles and how many pounds before you start to get those thick arms? I didn't think that I wanted to get into all these cycles, I just wanted impressive arms that were slightly bigger. I really didn't think it would take five or more cycles, and once you reach that point, is it possible to keep that arm size without steroids? I think 17 inches would be nice, considering how much I was enjoying the sixteen and a half arms while they lasted. I was getting a lot of female comments suddenly too.
I remember reading somewhere that Arnold Schwarzenegger said that for every inch gained on your arms, you have to gain ten pounds. That seems a bit low to me now. It was a long time ago that I read it, so maybe I remember wrong, or maybe he was misquoted, or maybe he never even said it.
currently I am 6'2", 13%bf, and 218 lbs, 28 years old
