are you bulking/cutting/maintaining?
how much do you weigh?

4000-4500 calories, very clean with one cheat meal per week.
I'm really cutting right now, but my weight is staying pretty much the same, yet I'm gaining lean muscle.

7% bodyfat as of this morning when i woke, & I weigh 206.
Taking Sustanon/Fina/Winny
 
2000-2200 cutting (now)
5000 or thereabouts bulking (not now :D)

usually hover around the 175-190 mark (depending on what i am doing at the time) at 5'7"/5'8". semi fast metabolism, more on the high side than slow.
 
I don't count cals only protein
700gms of protein a day
500 grams of carbs and
200 grams of EFA's Fats-Olive oil
so that's 4 calories per gram for the protein and carbs and 9 cals for the EFA's =6600...I just counted I guess...

eating 5000-6000 weighing 262 right now, not sure about bodyfat mabye 15ish? feelin good, just finished 8 week sust only cycle

No flame here but in my opinion, there is no reason to diet until you finish bulking or adding the mass you desire..all this bulk, cut stuff is nonsense and sets you back in terms of lean mass gains, I always tell people you can't grow on a diet
 
Roughly 3,000 cal / day and about 200 g protein / day. Stay on this throughout the summer. Fall/winter, starting upping the calories/protein. Currently 188 lbs 6'0 10% BF
 
jasonstrong, yeah, but one needs to limit how fat they do get. there is nothing worse than having to diet for a very long time and lose alot of lbm because you overbulked. Plus, most of us here are concerned by how we look, and it is harder to stay motivated on a bulking cycle when you go too long without actually seeing your muscle, and seeing yourself slowly get fatter.

i can bulk as much as i want, have to get down to like 10% for track season in jan. plenty of time until then.............and i like eating tons of extra food......even if i am a pig, oink oink

do you ralize how much 700 gms of protein a day is? What does your meal plan consist of?
 
700 g's pf protein is insane ..........how much bf do you have?? what do you weigh...

im knockin back an avg of 3k 3500 and that seems to keep me where i want at 225ish....will be off cycle in 2 weeks...
 
No offense, but I aint buying it.

Lets assume the body can asimilate 100g every 3 hours.
I think that is alittle high but just for arguement sake.

That means 700g/100g = 7sittings x 3hours =21 hours-3hours(dont need it to be fully digested)
So that means you have an 18hour day. from 6am-midnight you would eat 100g every 3 hours.

DN-You don't have to buy it, I ain't fat if you call 11% at 290 fat.
I am not telling you to do this but it works for me, and I do it everyday so please people after I spent 10 minutes posting this don't call me a liar or that no way that you can absorb that much protein. Liquid shakes clear the stomach in less than 2 hours I have found. I also take a break from this every 2-3 months and just eat 4-500 grams a day. I am very disciplined and don't miss meals and spend a ton of $$ on food and supplements, don't party or drink or have excess social activities like staying out late and chasing skirts...
Here's the deal:
4 am 100 gram protein shake mixture of
12 oz milk
40 grams miscellar casein
40 grams Whey
2 tsp olive oil
Back to bed
up at 5:30 or 6 am
~6:30 am
1.5 lbs 93 % lean ground beef
large serving of pan fried hash browns cooked in no fat spray
coffee
Vitamins

9 am
100 gram protein shake with olive oil

11:30 Am Lunch
4-5 grilled Chicken Breasts
Large Serving of rice
Large Salad no dressing
Large serving of steamed veggies

2 pm
100 gram protein shake with olive oil

4 pm pre work out shake
30 grams Whey hydro
30 grams Maltodextran
20 grams dextrose

5:30 Pm Post work out shake
40 grams whey hydro
40 grams ion exchange whey
40 grams Malto
30 grams dextrose
8 grams BCAA powdered from BAC
20 grams Glutamine
20 grams Micronized Creatine
Swallowed with
3 grams Ester-C
1 muti vitamin
1 multi mineral
1000 iu's vitamin E
50 mgs Zinc
5 capsules Lecithin
10 capsules of EFA's-fish oil

20 minute "nap"
6:45
100 grams cottage cheese
Large bowl of rice

8:30
2 lbs 93 % lean ground beef or several 4-5 chicken breasts
1/2 baked pot
Large Salad
large serving of steamed veggies

10 PM
100 gram nighttime shake
50 grams miscellar casein
30 grams Whey
20 grams Milk Protein Isolate
1% milk
20 grams Glutamine.

I am sure there will be some flames so let them fly...I am here to contribute not BS people. This is what my nutrition plan has evolved into over 12 years of learning next year I may eat less because a more effecient protein comes out.....

Doubles how many grams of protein though? You may need more protein as you hit 230 then 240 then 250 if that's your goal.

I found as I moved up the ladder in bodyweight and mass that I needed more protein less juice and less but way more intense training to grow.
At 250 I was taking in 400 grams a day
at 270 prolly 5-600
and at 290-300 7-800 is the norm

my goal is to stay around the 230# level as that is where im most comfortable and feel i liook best...

im 6"3 as well bf under 10%...havent gotten tested id say 8ish and looking to be about 6.5-7%...

looks like you are spot on to what I was doing...at 230 I was hitting about 300-325 mgs a day...when cutting cals becomes an issue I cut carbs a bit and the milk...

thanks Tex I wish I could fit in one or more solid meals a day as over half my protein comes from shakes, although on the week end I eat more food/less shakes because I have more time...it's easier to slam a shake than to choke down 3 chicken breasts...better in time and better that the boss doesn't see you choking on the feathers....he he......:p :D
 
man if you guys really weight that much with such little BF its impressive. isnt it uncomfortable though?
 
I take in around 2200-2300 cals a day. Starting to drop carbs under 100mg a day and I try to get a minimum of 270 grams protein. Im 5'8 195 at 8% trying to get down around 6 or so.

definately the smallest guy to post in this thread but here goes.. its all relative i guess :)

i take in about 250 - 300 g protein and

1500-2000 cals a day

im really trying to loose the last bit of fat i have and get down to the weight i want to compete at

this seems real low but i ease my way down here.. keep protein high and i dont loose strength
 
Jason Strong is my new role model. I have no idea how you get down 2 pounds of hamburger meat in one meal. I currently weigh 245 pounds with about 6-7% bodyfat. I have a very high metabolism. I am eating 5000 calories/day to maintain my weight (I'm off cycle). When I bulk I take in about 6000. I would take in more but that is all my body will allow me to take in without throwing up. I will have my days that I can down 8000 calories but after a week or two of that I start to get literally sick of eating and take in primarily shakes and force them down. Hopefully this offseason my appetite stays up. I also take in 450-500 grams of protein/day but would like to take over 600 grams/day this offseason. - cbeaks

Bet the toilet paper bill is high. I'm really impressed at your dedication to food. No way I'm waking up to eat but I'm a lazy ass and need 10 hrs sleep.
 
Wow I get about 200 to 220 grams a day and about 3500 to 4000 calories a day, but I'm 17 and I haven't touched a prohormone/roid yet. I'm 5'11'' I weigh about 195 right now and I'm like 17%bf which isn't great but I'm gaining size in all of my areas and I'm dropping inches from the waist at the same time.

CB remember that is 2lbs uncooked but still it is sometime hard to choke down....I just basically pan fry it add a little A-1 to the burger and some onions and mix with the hash browns and boom..

What's a dump?...he he..seriously though no more no less than when I eat 4-500 grams, I always hit the John-2 maybe 3 at the most in a day...and my bodyfat has not jumped up considerably -although it is been hard to lean out so I am about to cut carbs.
to me that means I am absorbing and using that extra 2-300 grams of protein...however I could be wrong.

I am not quite as big as you; about 265-270 10-11% bf
I couldnt possibly hold down that much food.
5 chk breasts 2 sittings after 1.5lbs hamburger
Makes me gag thinking about it.
Either way Good luck with it Bro. Tell me when you hit 3-bills.
