Me personally, I started training in 1981 (no comments on my age) - granted its not been balls to the wall since then, but its been fairly consistent considering society's commentary on women's body building since those early days.... But I went thru 2 natural competitions and 21 years before getting creative. Half out of ignorance, 1/2 out of not feeling the need for it.
Sorry I can't provide anythign worth looking at pre / post due to some personal life f-ups in the last year that have done evil things to my lifestyle & motivations & sanity... but that's another story.
