How hard do you go?

I wanted to know how hard you go in your lifts? I would say I feel best at 75% but I’m sure if I went higher intensity I would get better results.

the goal of weight training for 95% of us is to break down the muscle.. so it isn't about throwing weights around like a gorilla.. it is about really getting that specific muscle working both ways

I got to nitpick here a bit.
You don't actually break down muscle tissue per se but rather cause a breakdown of proteins in molecular level.

Well if you finish a set and feel like you left something on the table, I'd say you didn't do enough and are just wasting time. I'm not saying you need to go to failure all of the time . I'm saying you need to maximize your sets. That means squeezing out extra reps where you can....controlling the movement....and employing progressive overload...increasing weight and/or reps and trying to beat your numbers every workout
